The Seed of Spirit was a new ability Matthew acquired after entering the Life Domain.

This ability allowed Matthew to implant his spiritual imprint into a suitable target, thereby gaining complete control over them.

Given his current level of mental power, he could split into two spiritual imprints at most.

In other words, he could have two avatars simultaneously.
