The Overmind clearly harbored a greater hatred for the dreamscape, allocating only a minimal portion of its power to counter Rovia, while concentrating most of its firepower on the dreamscape.

Although the Overmind's firepower far exceeded that of the dreamscape, it lacked guidance capabilities. Most of the spiritual energy missiles dissipated in the chaotic space of the Spirit World, and the few that remained were deftly evaded by Rode's superior skills.

Only a very small number of spiritual energy missiles successfully hit the Dream Bubble.

However, after the Book of Knowledge repaired the dreamscape's defense core—the Mirror of the Gods—it was able to fully allocate its defensive power.
