The mask was still attached to his face, still in an overload state, but now it had transformed into a state of Greed, having moved away from Wrath.

Compared to the complete loss of control with Wrath, the more familiar mask of Greed seemed relatively mild.

At least, having experienced overload once before, Lu Ce found it somewhat easier to control.

It also allowed his completely blank mind to regain some ability to think. In the later stages of Wrath, there was really only the instincts and intuition of a beast.
