Second floor of Happiness Internet Cafe.

"Hello? Can you hear me?" The static noise crackled from the walkie-talkie. Zhang Ruobing shook her head at her mentor. "Master, I can't reach Team Yang."

Could something have happened to Old Yang?

Old Li felt a sense of foreboding. Suddenly, the sound of footsteps echoed.

With his experience, Old Li immediately drew his pistol. "Someone's here."

A shadow emerged from the corridor.

"Who is it? If you don't speak, I'll shoot."

Seeing no response, Old Li didn't hesitate. He raised his hand and fired, quickly taking the figure down.

Several shoulder lights shone simultaneously, revealing another Imitation Human internet cafe attendant.

The stench of blood filled the air.

Looking at the skinned remains on the floor, the officers were horrified. "Captain Li, what on earth is this?"

Old Li didn't have an answer himself. He could only say, "Why ask so much? Just draw your guns and shoot on sight."

Chen Feng seemed to have figured something out. Although these Fake People were terrifyingly strong, they had a fatal weakness: once their human skin was injured, it would immediately fall off, and they would die.

"Quick! Downstairs!"

Thinking that his old partner, Team Yang, might not know the attendants were disguised monsters, Old Li was anxious and led the group rushing downstairs.

"Hello, is anyone there?"

"Old Yang!"

Descending the stairs, no matter how Old Li shouted his colleague's name, there was no response. His heart sank to the bottom, and without a doubt, those three were in trouble.

A burp echoed.

Accompanied by a rustling sound, Zhu Xianxian's figure gradually emerged from the darkness.

Old Li raised his gun and asked, "Where are your handcuffs? Where did my colleagues go?"

"Them?" Zhu Xianxian smirked, patting her slightly swollen belly. "In my stomach..."

Before she could finish speaking, there were several bangs as Old Li fired.

That's why he's the captain—decisive enough.

After being shot several times, the group saw Zhu Xianxian's true form, just like Old Yang did.

And then they went mad.

"Ah! Ah!"

The officers frantically pulled the trigger, not realizing they had run out of bullets.

Even after being shot so many times, Zhu Xianxian showed no signs of injury. She merely stomped on the floor, and countless spiders erupted, attacking the group at the stairwell.

"Run!"

"Upstairs!"

In an instant, the officer at the front was swallowed by the spider horde.

"Damn it!"

Old Li cursed, pulling a tear gas grenade from his waist, pulling the pin, and tossing it into the spider swarm.

A loud bang was heard.

Countless white, irritating smoke billowed out, killing or injuring a large number of the small spiders.

"Ah!"

Amid Zhu Xianxian's screams, a few managed to escape back to the second floor.

But as they ran, the two in front suddenly stopped.

"Why are you standing there? The spiders are catching up."

Chen Feng patted the two, but something felt off. It didn't feel like he was touching a human but rather a stone.

"What happened?"

Old Li felt a bad premonition rising in his heart.

The three cautiously approached and found that the two officers at the front had turned into lifelike gray-white statues!

"This can't be!"

Old Li's heart trembled, unable to believe his eyes.

As the three were distracted by the statues, a snake-like hissing sounded above. A thick, powerful snake tail descended with lightning speed, coiling around Zhang Ruobing's waist and lifting her off the ground!

"Master, save me!"

Before she could finish saying "save me," Zhang Ruobing was torn in half by the tail, and warm blood rained down like a storm, drenching Chen Feng and Old Li.

"Ruobing!"

Old Li wiped his face and looked up, discovering a half-human, half-snake creature moving swiftly on the ceiling. In his grief and anger, he raised his gun and fired.

"Close your eyes! Don't look!"

Snake, petrification.

The moment Chen Feng saw the statues, he realized something was wrong. Almost instinctively, he shut his eyes tightly and shouted a warning to Old Li.

But it was too late.

"I can't move!" Old Li's voice was stiff, his body rapidly being covered by a layer of gray-white stone, soon turning into a cold statue.

"You were... the vagrant wandering at the door during the day. I told you to leave, but you didn't listen. Do you regret it now?"

She Qingqing's voice came from the ceiling.

It was indeed She Qingqing.

Upon seeing the petrification, Chen Feng immediately thought of the blindfolded girl.

She Qingqing praised, "But you managed not to look into my eyes. That's quite clever."

It had nothing to do with being clever.

Chen Feng looked down, feeling a bit ashamed. Because of She Qingqing's ample chest, when he looked up, his first glance landed there, allowing him to narrowly escape.

Seeing Chen Feng remain silent, She Qingqing slowly approached, coldly saying, "I don't want to kill, but since you came to me, don't blame me."

With his eyes closed, he was no match for this snake demon.

Chen Feng lowered his head, opened his eyes, and ran toward a certain room on the second floor based on memory.

"Running won't help. Let me give you a quick death."

She Qingqing followed, not moving very fast. It wasn't that she wanted to spare Chen Feng but because Old Li had shot her earlier.

Old Li, your efforts won't be in vain!

With a burst of speed, Chen Feng slammed open the bathroom door.

The Water Ghost could briefly teleport through bodies of water. In the second loop, it used this method to reach the second floor.

So Chen Feng rushed to the sink, quickly turning on the faucet, letting the water gush out, soaking his front.

Water Ghost, come to me!

With the system's call, the water in the sink began to churn violently.

At this moment, Chen Feng also heard the sound of a snake tail moving and scales scraping the floor.

She Qingqing burst into the bathroom, her voice a soft murmur: "Give up resisting. Just look into my eyes—it'll kill you in an instant, and it won't hurt at all."

Chen Feng closed his eyes, snorting, "You've never died, so how would you know it doesn't hurt?"

"Have you died before?"

As She Qingqing spoke, she suddenly sensed something was wrong.

Cold! So cold!

Snakes are cold-blooded and very sensitive to cold. The temperature drop when the Water Ghost appeared immediately caught her attention.

So she didn't hesitate and charged directly at Chen Feng.

Feeling the wind in front of him, Chen Feng shouted, "Water Ghost, save me!"

With a loud splash and water spraying everywhere, a blurry, twisted transparent figure emerged from the sink.

"What?"

Before She Qingqing could react, an immense, unstoppable force slammed into her, sending her flying and crashing heavily into the corridor wall with a dull thud.

That fall was quite severe.

Before She Qingqing could recover, she felt a pair of cold, slippery hands gripping her neck.

"Water Ghost!"

Realizing the opponent's identity, She Qingqing widened her eyes, trying to petrify it. But the Water Ghost was unfazed, stubbornly twisting She Qingqing's beautiful head off!
