They looked with reverence and awe at the deity walking on the waves, wrapped in holy light. The divine scene drove them to shout madly. Some white people, upon witnessing this miraculous sight, fell to their knees, eyes filled with devout pleas for the deity's blessing.

Followers of various religions were even more fervent, singing hymns loudly in praise of the deity.
